How does Kobecha prevent the TV from going to sleep or dimming?
Kobecha automatically requests the Screen Wake Lock API (`navigator.wakeLock`) on all smart TVs and browsers. As long as Kobecha is active on the screen, the display will not turn off or enter idle standby.
What if the hotel Wi-Fi temporarily drops?
Kobecha runs an integrated Service Worker (`/sw.js`). All fonts, templates, icons, and room credentials are cached locally in the TV's browser memory. The screen stays visible even during temporary network interruptions.
Can guests exit to normal TV channels or Netflix?
Yes. On standard TVs, pressing the TV remote's Input/Source or Home button lets guests switch to cable TV or streaming apps. When the TV is powered off and turned back on, it automatically restores Kobecha TV as the default home screen.
